History

McKechnie Aluminium commenced manufacturing in New Plymouth, New Zealand in 1953 as McKechnie Brothers. In April 2004 the Company was acquired by a consortium which included senior managers of the company. This acquisition included all divisions of the business.

While a large portion of our production is sold in Australia and New Zealand, many other products are supplied to markets all around the globe, including the Pacific Islands, USA and Europe.
