Quality

The international standard ISO AS/NZS 9001 forms the basis of the companies Quality Management System (QMS). The McKechnie Aluminium integrated Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policy endorses a commitment to the intentions of the environmental and quality standards. The QMS and EMS incorporate many identical components, as the standards stipulate similar conditions such as planning, document control, training, etc. The QMS is a process-based system that links customer satisfaction to ongoing control of individual processes throughout the manufacturing chain. Monitoring of the QMS to ensure customer realisation is met is conducted through process & product measurement, ongoing audits, top management reviews etc to ensure that the system is performing to expectations, and the opportunities for continual improvements are being addressed.
